Hypnotherapy is an extremely effective way of treating a wide variety issues that many of us have to deal with every day. It can help you to take back control, build on and strengthen your existing inner resources and learn effective coping strategies. It works by allowing access to the unconscious mind via a state of deep relaxation. Through gentle suggestion unconscious negative thought patterns can be changed and new, more positive ones formed. These new thought patterns can then change how you think and behave. It is a completely safe and thoroughly enjoyable experience where you can feel wonderfully relaxed whilst remaining completely in control. My approach combines hypnotherapy with Cognitive Behaviour Techniques, creating a therapeutic model that is specifically tailored to your individual needs. I am based in Cardiff and I specialise in anxiety related issues including panic attacks, phobias, stress, exam nerves and habits as well as improving self-esteem and confidence. I work with both adults and children. I have spent a number of years working with young children in a variety of childcare settings including mainstream schools, special schools, private day nurseries and after school clubs. I am now in a position to combine my hypnotherapy and childcare skill sets to help children of all ages.
