Valley Exotics, part of Valley Veterinary Hospital in Cardiff, is a dedicated veterinary service for exotic pets. Exotics in the veterinary profession includes anything which is not a cat/dog/horse/farm animal and includes Birds (inc. parrots, birds of prey, backyard poultry), Small Mammals (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Small Primates, Rats etc) and Reptiles (Snakes, Lizards, Tortoises, Turtles etc). We have a purpose built department inside the hospital for these species, with dedicated wards, operating theatre, preparation area and isolation area. We have advanced clinical equipment at our disposal, including a CT scanner. We accept 1st opinion cases and referrals from other vets.
